Janesville Parker’s girls golf team was second in a Big Eight Conference quad meet at Yahara Hills East on Monday.

The Vikings recorded a team score of 397. Sarah Zimmerman led the way for Parker with a 93. Bailey Carlson added a 97. Maddie Olson chipped in with a 103; Macy Grover added a 104; and McKenna Haenel added a 117.

Sun Prairie won the meet with a 372. Isabel Royle won medalist honors with a 77.

Madison Memorial was third with a 456.

Parker finishes the Big Eight regular season at 5-4.

Parker coach John Zimmerman likes where his team is as the postseason beckons.

“The entire team continues to show progress this season,” Zimmerman said.

“Our goal is to be playing our best for the conference tournament and WIAA regional competition.”

The Vikings host the Parker Invite this Saturday at Riverside Golf Course. The tourney is set for a 7:45 a.m. shotgun start.
