The Janesville Jets are streaking to start the second half of the North American Hockey League season.

The Jets won their fourth straight game Saturday night, completing a road sweep of rival Springfield by winning 3-2.

Jordan Steinmetz’s goal with three minutes left in the second period gave Janesville a 3-1 lead and wound up being the difference.

The Jr. Blues scored to get back within a goal with a little more than seven minutes remaining, but Garrett Nieto slammed the door from there. He stopped 42 shots to go 2-0 on the weekend.

Jakov Novak had a goal and an assist for the Jets.

On Friday, the Jets posted their second consecutive shutout, winning 2-0.

Janesville is back home next weekend for a rematch series with Springfield.
