In the first meeting of this season between the Badger Conference rivals Thursday night at Edwards Ice Arena, there was no separating the two girls hockey teams. Rock County, the area's co-op team, and Cap City, the co-op based out of Sun Prairie, skated to a scoreless draw.

Knauf scored three times, including twice off feeds from Presley Kovacevich and Cammi Ganshert, in the first 5 minutes, 21 seconds, and the Rock County Fury blanked the Badger Lightning 7-0 in a high school girls hockey game in Beloit.

The Rock County Fury girls hockey team finished second in Hartland Arrowhead’s Thanksgiving tournament, losing a shootout to the Bay Area Ice Bears in the title game Saturday at Mullett Ice Arena.
