Milton High finished sixth at the 19-team Madison Edgewood Invitational girls golf meet at Yahara Hills on Friday.
The Red Hawks shot 344. Arrowhead High won the team title with 322, while Kettle Moraine was second at 326.
Janesville Parker was 16th with 390. Edgerton was 17th with a 403.
Emily Lauterbach of Arrowhead shot a 4-under 68 to earn the individual championship.
Parker’s Sophia Dooman finished in a tie for eighth with a 79. It was her second consecutive 79, matching the score she shot at Thursday’s Verona Invitational.
“Finishing eighth in a 100-player field shows her abilities,” Parker coach Mary Ross said. “She’s off to a strong start.”
Taylor Hakala and Claudia Seeman each shot 81 to lead Milton. Grace Weiss and Reagan Moisson each added a 91 to the Red Hawks’ total.
Parker begins the Big Eight Conference season Monday when it takes on Beloit Memorial and Madison East at Krueger Haskell Golf Course at Beloit.
