Alexis Richardson recorded a double-double, Jordyn Zader added 16 points, and Pius XI Catholic withstood another big night from Janesville Parker’s Julia Hartwig for a 60-42 nonconference win Saturday night as part of the Thanksgiving Shootout at Brookfield Central High.

Hartwig led all players with 19 points. The junior is averaging 17.7 points per game for the 1-2 Vikings. Teammate Tina Shelton added 11 points—her second straight game in double figures.

Richardson scored 10 of her 16 points in the first half and added 10 rebounds. The Popes shot 40.4 percent from the field.

Parker was 8 of 22 at the free throw line.

The Vikings return to Big Eight Conference play Friday at home against Madison East.
