Lake Geneva Badger’s boys golf team added another tournament title to its resume Friday.

Junior Blake Wisdom shot 3-over 73 at Krueger-Haskell to help the Badgers shoot 311 as a team and win the Beloit Invitational.

Sun Prairie was second at 322, with Milton third (325), Parker fourth (328) and Elkhorn fifth (334). Janesville Craig was seventh (335).

Wisdom had four birdies on the day and was joined in the 70s by teammate Connor Duggan, who shot 77 to finish seventh.

Milton junior A.J. Gray tied for fourth with a 76.

Sophomore Kadin Kleman led Parker with an 80.

“We played solid, but again are letting too many shots slip,” Parker coach Sam Van Galder said. “It was tough to lose to three teams that we will see in our sectional in a few weeks.

“Narrowing our focus and playing in the present is our goal moving forward.”

Junior Dan Thomsen paced Craig with an 81.

Badger and Parker play in an invite hosted by Arrowhead at Tuckaway Country Club on Saturday.
