I may not have my body rest in the rotunda of the state capitol in Washington, D.C.
That is an honor for dignitaries and leaders that have contributed to upholding the truth and democracy of the Constitution of the United States of America. Those laws that have passed and made into bills for which we are to respect and appease too.
Instead, my body will come to rest with a American flag draped in a church that I pray and worship. I worship and give thanks to my God for allowing me into this world with a pure soul and not unscarred. To be able to defend against those that present evil and harm to the world.
For I am a American. Not a color, race, but a brother to all of which God created us equal. Same blood and body.
I will leave this world battled from the perception of unshared truth and justice. For we have no equal thoughts towards one another and feel the right to be judgmental in doing so. Who are we to have that right?
Getting away from division starts with all of us learning to love one another. To help your neighbors regardless of parties. To learn how to donate and be charitable to causes. Most of all to learn the word "thanks" everyday of your life.
