Milton, WI -- Kenneth L. Kidder, age 77, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at home, surrounded by his family. Ken was born on June 14, 1940, to Warren and Thelma Jean (Lounds) Kidder in Milton. Ken graduated from Milton High School in 1958. After high school, Ken went on to be a Civil Air Patrol Cadet. He owned and operated Custom Tree service for 50 years. He also owned/operated the Milton Greenhouse. He collected and sold many antiques. He married Patsy Arms in 1958 and then later married Susan Boyd on July 12, 1978. Ken was involved in many volunteer and community activities. He was involved in the coalition in Edgerton to curb underage drinking. He was on the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army in Janesville, and Scouting with Troop 466 and Troop 477 starting in 1980. Ken was also involved with the Aldo Leopold Nature Center in Madison, WI. He was a Buck Skinner Rendezvous Participant, and built and maintained the log cabin at the Rock River Thresheree, of which he was a member for over 40 years. Kenneth very much enjoyed trout fishing.

Ken is survived by his children: Kenneth Jr. (Annette) of Janesville, Helen (Paul) Harper of Richmond, Texas, Nancy (Bill) Godkin of Lake Mills, Andrew (Halora) of Sun Prairie; half-sister, Virginia (Steve) Hallett of Scottsville, KY; half-brother, Clark of Janesville; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one step granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy; sons: Jeffery, Donald and Gregory; his second wife, Susan; and half-brother, Ronald.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the First Congregational Church, Milton. Visitation time will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services are assisting the family.
