Janesville police are looking for five or six people who entered Five Points Grocery and Gas early Wednesday morning and got away with money and cigarettes.

Officers responded at 12:28 a.m. Wednesday to the convenience store at 600 W. Milwaukee St., according to a news release.

They displayed no weapon but threatened a clerk, said police Lt. Charles Aagaard.

They took $209 in cash and 29 packs of Newport cigarettes valued at $237, according to a police report.
