All streets closed because of flooding Tuesday are now open, the city of Janesville wrote in press release Wednesday.

Some localized flooding and standing water remain in parts of Janesville. While there may be patches of ice on the roads, city crews have been spreading salt, according to the press release, and the crews will continue to monitor pavement conditions throughout the day.

Safety concerns may be reported to the city services center at 608-755-3110.

In Edgerton, Highway 51 between Swift and Rollin streets remained closed Wednesday afternoon due to water over the roadway. Drivers were advised to use an alternative route, according to an alert issued by 511 Wisconsin.
