ERIK M. TAYLOR, 36, Sharon, taken into custody at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday at the Rock County Jail, 200 E. Highway 14, Janesville, on an active warrant out of Oklahoma for possession of methamphetamine.

ASHLEY A. PETERSON, 28, 6219 S. Highway 51, Lot 99, Janesville, on one count of resisting arrest and attempting to disarm a police officer after Rock County sheriff’s authorities were called to a domestic disturbance at the Rockvale Mobile Home Park. Peterson had fled but returned home while police were on scene and tried to hide in a bedroom. He then resisted a sheriff’s deputy and tried to grab the deputy’s gun.


THEFT at 9:34 p.m. Wednesday at the 4600 block of County A, town of Janesville. Someone cut off and stole $75 worth of ¼-inch copper ground wiring from a cellphone tower and adjacent building.


WILLIE J. WILLIS, 30, of 1993 Colony Court No. 3, Beloit, with party to possession with intent to deliver cocaine and marijuana. He was charged after deputies reported finding 3.1 grams of cocaine and 0.4 ounces of marijuana on him when they stopped a vehicle at the Mobil gas station at 6501 S. Highway 51 in the town of Beloit the night of Aug. 31. Another man in the minivan, who was not immediately charged, had about 0.7 ounces of marijuana.

DUSTIN J. FLETCHER, 25, of 709 S. Jackson St., Janesville, with theft from a person. He is accused of grabbing a woman’s wallet as she was leaving the Janesville Wal-Mart shortly after midnight on May 9. The wallet and cellphone inside it were recovered, but $750 in cash was missing.

JOHN R. MATZKE, 21, of 1257 Ruger Ave., Janesville, with burglary. He is accused of taking a bottle containing seven hydrocodone pills from a neighbor’s apartment at 1310 Laramie Lane, Janesville, on July 10. does not condone or review every comment. Read more in our Commenter Policy Agreement
