HEINZEN, 33, at 8:39 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 4233 Chadswyck Drive, Janesville, when Rock County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant as part of an “ongoing drug investigation,” on charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of THC, MDMA and drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor child neglect.

KALEB J. RODRIGUEZ, 29, of 1125 Church St., Janesville, at 8:13 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at his residence on a domestic abuse charge of strangulation/suffocation.

CHANTELL A. APPELL, 30, of Belvidere, Illinois, at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Walmart, 3800 Deerfield Drive, Janesville, on charges of felony retail theft, theft of personal identifying information, possession of drug paraphernalia and a fugitive complaint. She was accused of taking toiletries valued at $1,738

PATRICK M. DONNELLY, 38, of 1241 Hain Road, Edgerton, at 6:38 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 629 E. Milwaukee St., Janesville, on domestic abuse charges of suffocation/strangulation and disorderly conduct and a probation violation.

ROGER L. KRUEGER, 49, of 30 Countryside Drive, No. 8, Evansville, at 8:10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at AmericInn, 3900 Milton Ave. No. 108, on charges of possession of cocaine, criminal damage and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is accused of causing $3,740 damage to a bathroom, door and window screen.

Intoxicated driving arrests

MARISSA L. RIZZO, 22, of 1419 Woodman Road, Janesville, at 2:49 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, at Milton Avenue and Black Bridge Road, Janesville.

JOHN A. BLACK, 55, of 203 W. Sunnyside Lane, No. 171, Janesville, at 12:12 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at County H and Mill Pond Road, town of Newark, after the vehicle he was driving went off the road and hit some trees. The arrest was listed as his first for intoxicated driving.


LOST GUN at 2:56 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Lazy River and Miles roads, town of Fulton, when the tailgate of a pickup truck driven by an off-duty Madison police officer opened and an AR-15-style, .556mm rifle and ammunition fell out, along with two totes containing Madison police shirts and other clothing. The items were found near the intersection and returned to the owner.


200 BLOCK OF MADISON STREET, JANESVILLE, at 4 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2. A city of Janesville truck’s snowplow hit and damaged the driver’s side mirror of a 2005 Ford Focus.


JOHN E. GORDON, 54, of 6619 W. Highway 81, Beloit, with substantial battery and disorderly conduct as acts of domestic abuse. He is accused of assaulting a woman at his residence Tuesday, Jan. 5, causing a cut above the eye that required three stitches.
