TRYDON A. DAVIS, 33, of South Beloit, Illinois, at 9:16 a.m. Thursday at the Janesville Police Department on charges of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor battery.

NATHANIEL J. PARTEE, 28, of 1401 Oakland Ave., Janesville, at 11:46 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of physical abuse of a child.

KATHERINE P. PARTIN, 35, of 104 N. Terrace St. upper, Janesville, at 9:59 p.m. Wednesday at 403 N. Jackson St. No. 3, Janesville, on a charge of physical abuse of a child.


DRUG ABUSE reported at 10:12 a.m. Wednesday by a 27-year-old Janesville man who was found on the floor of the men’s room at Schnucks, 1319 Creston Park Drive, inhaling (huffing) “canned air” cleaning spray. He was found unresponsive about three hours later in a restroom at McDonald’s, 1622 Milton Ave., in what was described as a similar incident.

ARSON reported at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday at 530 E. Russell Road, town of Janesville, after a wood pile caught fire, damaging a wooden deck and residence. Residents extinguished the fire. Sheriff’s investigators could find no explanation and no evidence of accelerants.

POSSIBLE ABUSE/THEFT OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS reported Wednesday at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. A Janesville man was brought in emaciated with skin breakdown and an apparently non-accidental wound to the leg. A test for drugs was negative, although the man was supposed to be taking two painkillers and an anti-anxiety/seizure drug. A caregiver is suspected. does not condone or review every comment.
