Milton High School student Emma McNally, daughter of Jeff and Tonia McNally, has been awarded the Milton 4-H Club Scholarship.
She has been a member of the Milton 4-H Club for 10 years and has served as its president, vice president, treasurer and reporter, junior leader for music and drama activities and as a counselor at the Rock County Cloverbud day camp.
As a 4-H member, McNally’s projects included dairy, swine, home environment, photography, drawing and painting, clothing, crocheting, crops, visual arts and foods and nutrition. She also was involved in various community projects such as Kids Against Hunger, bingo and Christmas caroling with senior citizens, poppy distribution for the American Legion Auxiliary, bell ringing for the Milton Food Pantry and making blankets for the UW Children’s Hospital and fire department.
McNally plans to attend UW-Platteville and major in international agribusiness and minor in Spanish. She is interested in pursuing a career in international agriculture.
