Walworth County will host a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 77,500-square-foot health and human services building at noon Wednesday.

The ceremony will be held at the site of the new building, 1910 County NN, just east of the Walworth County Judicial Center.

Venture Architects will present an illustration of the building, and a brief program with refreshments will be offered. Parking will be available adjacent to the construction site across from Aurora Lakeland Medical Center.

Construction of the building is estimated to cost $14.9 million, and the total cost of the project is about $24 million.
