Parker High School basketball alumna Mistie Bass will return to Janesville to speak at the Believe & Achieve fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Pontiac Convention Center, 2809 Pontiac Drive.

The event supports the Janesville Multicultural Teacher Scholarship, a teaching scholarship for students of color. It will feature comments from graduates and current students using the teaching scholarship. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be offered.

Tickets cost $50 per person with $30 of each ticket sale contributing to the scholarship fund.
