The Mercyhealth Association of Volunteers will accept scholarship applications until April 1 for those pursuing a career in health care.

The association will award several scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000, totaling $12,000, according to a news release.

High school seniors and adults interested in the health care field are eligible, according to the release.

Selection will be based on academic standing, extracurricular activities, financial need and volunteer work, according to the release.

Applications can be found online at Mercyhealthsystem.org/volunteers. Completed applications should be returned to Mercyhealth Association of Volunteers, PO Box 5003, Janesville, WI, 53547.
