JANESVILLE—Voter turnout in Tuesday’s election wasn’t as robust as in 2018. But the number of registered voters who cast ballots still topped 65,000, or about 50% of all eligible voters in the county.

Rock County Clerk Lisa Tollefson said turnout Tuesday was about 3,000 voters shy of the 68,000 who voted in November 2018. Turnout in 2018 set a record for a midterm election in Rock County.
