A ribbon-cutting Monday will celebrate the return of drive-thru burgers and fries in Milton.
The city’s new DQ Grill & Chill is set to open Monday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:15 p.m. at 1167 Gateway Drive, near the east-side Kwik Trip.
Mike McKenna of Milton will run the restaurant, which will offer drive-thru service from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and carry-out from 5 to 9 p.m. seven days a week.
A doorbuster deal is planned for Saturday,April 3 and awards free GrillBurgers once a week for a year to the first 100 customers who buy a cake.
“I have always been a fan of the DQ brand and definitely saw a need in Rock County for the happiness each restaurant brings to those that frequent the business,” McKenna said in a news release.
Milton’s McDonald’s and Burger King restaurants closed several years ago.
