JANESVILLE—They don’t want it to rain on their parade.

The Janesville School District announced Tuesday that the Craig High School homecoming parade planned for today was canceled because of the weather forecast.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan predicts showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. The chance of rain ranges from about 40 percent in the morning to about 80 percent later in the day.

The homecoming pep rally will be held at 2 p.m. in the Craig High School gymnasium.

The football game against Madison West is still scheduled for 7 p.m. today at Monterey Stadium.
