The Women’s Fund Advisory Board has canceled its Oct. 21 fundraiser because of concern over COVID-19.
The event was to feature female authors from southern Wisconsin and was called “A New Chapter: The Ultimate Book Club.”
The board hopes to reschedule the event in spring 2022, according to a news release.
The Women’s Fund is a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. Its main mission is to provide funding to nonprofit agencies that serve the needs of women and girls in Rock County.
The Women’s Fund is now accepting grant applications for its annual grant cycle. Charitable nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply. Individual requests will not be considered. Applications submissions are due Wednesday, Sept. 15.
