The Rock County Public Health Department is now recommending that everyone wear a mask in indoor, public settings, regardless of vaccination status.
According to a Rock County Public Health Department news release, the recommendation is based on local circumstances and the latest scientific data. Mask-wearing and vaccination are the best defense against furthering the spread of the virus in the community, according to the health department.

Rock County currently has 89 cases (as of July 30, 2021) and 54.48 new cases per 100,000 residents over the last 7 days, according to the CDC's COVID Data Tracker.
