Milton School Board candidate Harvey Smith announced Monday a series of listening sessions prior to the spring election, according to a press release.

Smith scheduled sessions for the following dates:

  • 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, Milton Public Library break room.
  • 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, Milton Public Library break room.
  • 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 25, Milton Public Library community room.

“Our current school board isn’t listening,” Smith says in the release. “I want residents to know that I am. I want to hear from the district and this community.”

Smith finished sixth in the Feb. 20 primary to earn the final spot on the April 3 general ballot. Three seats are up for grabs on the board. does not condone or review every comment. Read more in our Commenter Policy Agreement
