Elkhorn police have arrested a man in connection with an Aug. 28 sexual assault and battery.
Terrence D. Leflore, 24, of Jackson, Mississippi, was arrested Monday night on charges of first-degree sexual assault, robbery, first-degree reckless injury, aggravated battery and obstructing an officer, according to a news release from the Elkhorn Police Department.
LeFlore is being held at the Walworth County Jail pending a Wednesday bond hearing in Walworth County Court, according to a news release.
The charges are related to an Aug. 28 assault in a car parked in public parking lot in the first block of South Lincoln Street, Elkhorn. The victim had left work and when she didn't show up at home, her relatives went looking for her and found her in her car, according to a previous news release.
The victim was unable to communicate with police and was transported for medical treatment.
The Elkhorn Police Department was assisted by the Walworth and Dane county sheriffs' offices, the Wisconsin State Crime Lab, the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation and the Association for the Prevention of Family Violence.
