Janesville resident arrested Tuesday on suspected fifth OWI charge

State troopers responded at 5:01 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, to a report of a fight on Interstate 90/39 near the Highway 73/51 interchange.

Troopers separated the fight and noticed that one of the motorists, a 29-year-old from Janesville, showed signs of impairment, according to the release.

The suspect, who had not been formally charged as of Wednesday, refused to perform a sobriety test. They were then arrested on a charge of fifth-offense operating while intoxicated, according to the release.
