JANESVILLE

A Janesville man faces multiple charges, including intoxicated driving causing injury, in connection with a crash on County O on Sunday night, Rock County sheriff’s officials said Monday.

Sammy Bunker, 31, of 1614 S. Oakhill Ave., No. 2, was charged with second-offense intoxicated driving, two counts of intoxicated driving causing injury, operating while suspended, following too closely and operating a vehicle without insurance, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

Deputies responded about 9 p.m. Sunday to 2817 E. County O for a report of two disabled SUVs. Two occupants of the vehicle that was struck were injured, according to the release.

Deputies determined Bunker had been driving the SUV that struck the other vehicle, according to the release. Bunker showed signs of impairment, and a blood test was taken, according to the release. Results are pending.

Bunker is currently being held at the Rock County Jail.
