Police said a Janesville man was arrested early Monday morning for a suspected fourth operating-while-intoxicated offense, a felony, according to a news release.

An officer stopped Michael R. Hudson, 42, of 441 N. Terrace St., near the intersection of Center Avenue and Nicolet Street after finding that the license plates on Hudson’s vehicle were expired and not associated to the vehicle.

Hudson was taken into custody on a Rock County Sheriff’s Office warrant, and during the interaction, the officer noticed signs of intoxication and conducted field sobriety testing, according to the release.

A blood sample was taken, and Hudson was being held at the Rock County jail until an initial court appearance, according to the release.
