A California man is charged with eighth-offense intoxicated driving after Walworth County prosecutors say he drove 14 miles per hour over the speed limit.
Town of East Troy police said Daniel R. Bialk, 50, of San Diego admitted to drinking four “Jack and Cokes” before driving at about 11:42 p.m. Jan. 2 on Interstate 43, according to a criminal complaint.
Bialk was driving 84 mph in a 70-mph zone, the complaint states.
Results from a blood test are pending.
Bialk has previous OWI violations in 2001, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, according to the complaint.
