The Clinton Public Library Foundation is hosting an art fundraiser at The Butterfly Club on Monday, March 12.

The second annual “Art at the Butterfly” runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the restaurant, 5246 E. County X, Beloit. It features 50 regional artists who will be available to talk about their art, along with live music and appetizers.

Cost is $15. Tickets are available at the library or at the door.

The event will raise money for the Clinton library, which needs more space.

In July 2012, Himmel and Wilson, a library consultant company, studied space at the library. The company determined the library is less than half the size it should be to house the existing collection, furnishings and staff spaces, even if no services are expanded or improved.
