Beloit construction material supplier ABC Supply is sponsoring singer-songwriter Lee Greenwood in an upcoming tour, the company announced.
Greenwood, best known for the 1984 hit single “God Bless the U.S.A.,” continues to tour and perform. ABC Supply will sponsor Greenwood’s tour bus for an upcoming set of 21 shows across the U.S. this year, the company said.
ABC Supply, owned by Beloit businesswoman Diane Hendricks, said in a release that Greenwood was invited to sing at a 2017 ABC Supply national managers meeting. Company officials then signed a “multiyear” sponsorship deal with him.
Greenwood released his latest album in 2016, and he also has published two books, “Proud to be an American Book” and “Does God Still Bless the USA?”
He said in a statement that ABC Supply will be a visible sponsor on his bus.
“As I travel across this country in my bus, truckers, fans and people I meet will become aware that Lee Greenwood and ABC Supply share the common belief that America is still the greatest country on Earth,” Greenwood said.
