Farmers who work near the Sugar River have scheduled a field day for Tuesday, Aug. 21.

The program runs from 10 a.m. to noon and includes a free lunch afterward at Jerry and Barb Daniels’ farm at W2340 Highway 11-81, between Brodhead and Juda.

Attendees will learn about conservation practices to manage and protect soil. A rainfall simulator demonstration will take place to show the effects of rain on soil management systems.
