We are so impressed by the generosity of the sponsors, golfers and guests who came to Abbey Springs Golf Course on June 12 to support Twin Oaks Shelter for the Homeless. Twin Oaks is Walworth County’s only 24/7 homeless shelter for families, but it also serves many people in need from surrounding areas. We guided 160 people on their pathway out of poverty in 2016 alone.

Twin Oaks relies on private contributions from businesses like Stinebrink’s Piggly Wiggly, Alder-Scherer, Thrivent Financial and First National Bank and Trust.

Proceeds from the event directly benefit Twin Oaks’ services, which include financial literacy training, job search assistance and—of course—shelter.

For more information about the shelter or to schedule a tour, please call Twin Oaks at 262-882-3662.
