Nicole Julia Richardson and Andrew Joseph Welsh are engaged and planning a Saturday, April 7, wedding at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Janesville.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Teri and Scott Richardson, Janesville. She graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 2009; received a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and computer science from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2013; and received a master’s degree in bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University in 2015. She is employed as a software engineer at Medical Informatics Engineering, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Her fiancé is the son of Mary Beth and Dr. David Welsh, Batesville, Indiana. He graduated from Oldenburg Academy, Oldenburg, Indiana, in 2009 and received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2013. He is employed as a safety engineer at Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Michigan.
