REP RYAN’s RESOLUTION passed in House with Discovering Democracy IV WATCHING! Headlines all over are that Rep. Paul Ryan’s BUDGET RESOLUTION which avoids a government shutdown next week passed the House yesterday morning. I sat in the gallery with the Milton High School Discovering Democracy IV group watching the vote and then the Q&A with REP. PAUL RYAN in his House Budget Committee Hearing room.

I was among those shocked by the report that County Board member Dave Brown collapsed and died while clearing his driveway in our town of Fulton last Tuesday.
