Don't sweat parking at Walworth County Dairy Breakfast
I just got off the phone with dairy farmer Tom Kauer, the host of Saturday's Walworth County Dairy Breakfast. The event is moving back to the farm this year after taking place on the (large!) Walworth County Fairgrounds for many years.
Kauer said he has gotten lots of questions about parking. I know we're all used to the handy parking at the fairgrounds, but Kauer thinks he'll have plenty of convenient on-farm parking in any weather other than a hurricane. (I'm paraphrasing.)
Here are the details. Enjoy your pancakes!
WALWORTH TOWNSHIP—Ample parking is available—even in the case of rain—on the farm for Saturday’s Walworth County Dairy Breakfast. The event is scheduled from 6 to 10:30 a.m. at the Tom and Roxanne Kauer Farm, N2150 Six Corners Road, Walworth. Shuttles will be available between the parking area and the breakfast tent, and individual transportation available for those who need it, Tom Kauer said. Handicapped parking will be next to the breakfast tent, Kauer said. In case of an extreme rain event, parking will be moved to Big Foot High School, 401 Devils Lane, Walworth. For more information, call (262) 723-2613.
