A new Web site for dairy farmers

By ANN MARIE AMES ( Contact )   Friday, October 23, 2009 - 10:03 p.m.

I found an interesting new Web site created by the UW Extension that has a lot of advice and resources to help dairy farmers manage while milk prices are so bad.

It's got a lot of information -- everything from current milk prices and price outlooks to mental health and and safety.

It's got good information for any farmer and even some good reading for urban residents, I thought.

Of course, one could say that many farmers won't be able to access the Web site because they have limited Internet access.

But that's a whole other issue.

I would encourage you to check out the site and see what you think.
