What to make of test scores and silver awards
In statewide math and reading tests administered last fall, Janesville School District results exceeded statewide averages at every grade level for the first time since 2002, when the federal No Child Left Behind law took effect.
Quickly following that news this week was the story that Janesville’s Craig and Parker high schools earned silver honors in the latest rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
