Whom do you like? Lee or Pocan?

By GREG PECK ( Contact )   Friday, October 26, 2012 - 5:10 p.m.

Republican Chad Lee and Democrat Mark Pocan have something in common other than running for the 2nd Congressional District seat being vacated by Tammy Baldwin.

Both Lee and Pocan have run small businesses. After that, however, their life stories and political backgrounds differ considerably.

Which candidate do you like best? The Gazette Editorial Board has met both candidates, and on Sunday we’ll reveal which one earns our endorsement in the Nov. 6 election.

Wislady jumps on another fake Republican attempt at lies and deciet.....again? You really should jump away from "sources" like these and start thinking for yourself. Like you they dont wait and confirm their stories, similar to the cigarrettes for signatures garbage they and you ran with, Making yourself less and less credible by the moment, LOve it!! Keep on trukin Darlene!!
I do like the part of the article that says,""Media Trackers regrets that we were repeatedly lied to and misled. We regret that our readers were subject to the dishonest claims of a dishonest individual. Despite the best efforts to verify the accuracy and integrity of certain claims, a cover-up sometimes works. Those who create and maintain such fabrications deserve to be ruthlessly exposed for they hold the power to destroy the credibility of innocent people.""

I think that sums up Media trakkers right there, lying and running with crap and thinking that a little retraction makes things all better. Might be forgivable if this werent the norm for them.

Here is the update from Media Trackers.

Glad they printed this, and why this idiot thought it was a good idea, is beyond comprehension.

I don't know what part is fabricated, there is now a police report that the "beating" was recanted. But why?

WisLady, the information in the link you provided appears to be of a fabricated story. The victim has recanted the original assault and the police are investigating this.

Interesting exchange of emails by Pocan's partner and the volunteer worker for his opponent, Chad Lee.

I like whoever John Eyster likes. He has his finger on the pulse of American politics.
I'm also sure that John's endorsements coincide synchroniously with those of the Gazette Editorial Board.

You mean they have elections in The People's Republic of Madison? I thought judges made all their decisions.

I don't live in that district but judging by it's location, I would say Lee has the proverbial two chances, slim and none.

Pocan was a jerk during the concealed carry bill public hearings in Madison. Hopefully he can join Barack Obama as a fellow community counselor in Chicago starting in January.

We need Chad Lee in Washington. He will represent and have the backs of ALL of district 2 not just the Madison area. I'll be voting for him.

Being gay is not a life choice. Being a bigot is.

If I lived in that district, I would vote for Chad Lee. If Pocan wins, it will be more of the "poor life choice values" that Baldwin had.
