Reflecting on concerns at Edgerton Hospital

Edgerton Hospital has admitted being short staffed at times and other concerns discovered by a state and federal investigation. It also has taken corrective actions to address these problems. This will be the subject of The Gazette’s editorial Friday.

A heavy toll for motorcyclists

The Government Accountability Office says direct costs from deaths and injuries in motorcycle crashes totaled $16 billion in 2010 alone—but full costs likely are much higher. The report also says helmets are the only proven strategy to reduce fatalities. Do you agree?
