Did WIAA make reasonable decisions?

The WIAA agreed Tuesday to keep the boys state basketball tournament at Madison’s Kohl Center at least until 2020, while the 2013 and 2014 girls tournaments will move to UW-Green Bay’s Resch Center. Were the decisions reasonable? This will be the subject of The Gazette’s editorial Friday.

Meetings don’t accurately measure public opinion

Three university researchers say town-hall-style meetings might provide useful insight about a range of views on a controversial issue but aren’t likely to accurately measure overall community opinion. Should this surprise us?
