Milton police report copper theft from vacant house
MILTON—Milton Police say that a residence was stripped of copper during a burglary reported this afternoon.
According to a press release from the Milton Police Department, police were called to a burglary at a residence this afternoon at the 900 block of Parkview Drive that had been burglarized of copper tubing and other items.
Police said the residence is vacant, and the burglary is thought to have happened sometime after Feb. 23. There were signs of forced entry through a garage window.
Police have not said how much copper was taken during the burglary.
It’s the second time in the past two months that a vacant residence in Milton has been stripped of copper during a burglary.
