Man robs Edgerton pharmacy for painkillers, police say
A man robbed the Edgerton Pharmacy for pain medication Thursday night, authorities said, and the robbery may be connected to others.
Edgerton Police were called to the pharmacy at 711 N Main St. just after 6:45 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release.
A man showed the pharmacist a note demanding the painkiller Oxycodone, then left on foot "with an undetermined amount" of drugs, police said.
The man's description matches that of the person suspected in a number of other robberies and attempted robberies of pharmacies around the area, according to the release.
