NEWVILLE Two traumatic injuries and a capsized boat kept the Rock River Safety Patrol busy on July 4.

A woman lost a finger in a boating accident, a speedboat capsized, and a man cut his leg on the prop of his boat, all within the space of four hours Thursday afternoon.
