Suspect in Brodhead robbery in custody
BRODHEAD – A rural Brodhead man accused in the robbery of a tavern early Thursday morning is in custody, the Brodhead Police Department reports.
A man with a handgun robbed M&J’s Tavern in Brodhead shortly after closing time Thursday, according to a police news release.
Richard W. Parot, 55, of W989 Taylor Trail, was arrested shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday, according to the release. He was taken to the Green County Jail.
Brodhead police and Green County sheriff’s deputies are investigating.
