Milton burglary costs owner 'thousands' in jewelry, collectible cash
MILTON—Milton police say a residential burglary on city’s west side has left a resident with thousands of dollars in jewelry and collectible currency stolen.
According to Milton police, the burglary happened at a residence on Vernal Ave. sometime between 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
A total value of the items reported stolen was not available, but Milton police estimate it's “in the thousands of dollars.”
Items stolen in the burglary include gold and silver necklaces, bracelets and a scuba-diving knife, along with silver dollars, half-dollars, Canadian, British and Mexican currency and an undetermined amount of U.S. currency.
