JANESVILLE—A Janesville man was arrested early Monday morning by Janesville police on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated, reported to be his fourth offense.

According to a Janesville Police Department news release, Officer Todd Radloff ran the license plate of a vehicle in the area of Milton Avenue and Humes Road through the Wisconsin Department of Transportation when he noticed registered owner Timothy R. Willger’s driving status to be revoked with three prior OWI convictions.

So Radloff stopped the vehicle at Milton Avenue and Morse Street where he identified the driver as Willger, who initially denied drinking. Willger, 39, of 1960 E. Racine St., Apt. 200, showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests.

He also was arrested on a charge of operating after revocation.
