Gov. Walker promising more moderate agenda

MADISON--With Wisconsin bitterly divided, Republican Gov. Scott Walker is promising a more moderate agenda in the second half of his term.
Walker tells the Wisconsin State Journal he plans to focus on the budget and job creation in the upcoming session. And he’s predicting less political turbulence than his first two years as governor.
In an interview published Sunday Walker says none of the legislation he supports this session will prompt massive protests like those that rocked the Capitol soon after he became governor in 2011 and unveiled a plan to all but end collective bargaining for most public workers.
Walker says his budget priorities will be job creation, workforce development, tax cuts, education reform and transportation infrastructure. His other legislative priorities include a mining bill and venture capital legislation.

those that believe either party is anything more that a group of traitors are either idiots or traitors themselves.. possibly both. The only point you prove when quoting MSM is just how brainwashed you are.

Wonder if 'more moderate' includes further expansion of the Agenda 21 program "green tier"? This so called 'conservative' governor expanded it via executive order for industry just prior to his election. Those who don't know what green tier/Agenda 21 are are welcome to attend a lecture on the subject in Lake Mills tonight

MOUSE - Please don't worry about WISLADY forgetting a letter from a sentence. :-)
We are still trying to help her with how to abbreviate Wisconsin. It is best if we help her with one thing at a time so we don't confuse her.

OMG mouse, give your militant SLA (Symbionese Liberation Army) views a rest. Hate the rich is a direct communism rally call. It's meant only in enslave a nation in poverty under a doctorial tyrannical rule.

We all know you are not against Soros and his billions more than Koch. Don't be a hypocrite.

Walker did exactly what he promises to do for us and won a recall for it. The person you should be concerned about is why Obama is losing even some of his Democrats with his lies on gun control, taxes, and debt.

Wislady you are so dishonest and I guess that qualifies you for the liars you stand with.. Obama has nothing to do with the lying Republicans and why is it every time someone brings the truth to your dear dear scooter and other liars of your party, you attempt to lie about the facts of those you follow behind shamelessly, and blindly blame the others? WHEN WILL YOU EVER GET HONEST???

Doesn't sound like "moderation" to me. Sounds like more of the same deceit, destruction, and division ... 916WI - " Yeah right! That's whey the entire state government swung toward Walker and the Republicans in that same election cycle". Walker also saw that the assembly Democrats garnered 200,000 more votes than the republicans in the assembly. Not a good sign for him, who has to run a state wide election.

I don't believe anything this man says anymore than I would believe the Governor of Michigan who claimed he would never ever sign right to work legislation and then signed it. The tactic of current Republican candidates is to say one thing, then do another. He just doesn't want to lose his job- and, if he did, who would hire him. If he's not outright dishonest, he certainly is disingenuous.

4bears......Yeah right! That's whey the entire state government swung toward Walker and the Republicans in that same election cycle. Two things that need to be addressed by Walker are entitlement reform and right to work legislation.

You rubes are doing the bidding of AP. Walker never used the word "moderate". The AP is framing the story to get you left wing extremists all riled up.

well Mongo, this isn't rocket science now is it? It's all about being elected for another term. So, after the President got another term, Scooter saw the writing on the wall when his BFF Paul got shot down and is changing his tune.... SHOCKING!
