Edgerton woman injured in accident
TOWN OF MILTON—An Edgerton woman was hospitalized in stable condition Saturday night after she lost control of her vehicle and rolled into a ditch, according to a news release from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the news release:
Authorities responded shortly after 7 p.m. to John Paul Road at Highway 26 for an accident involving a 2010 Volkswagen Beetle. Police say Noelle H. Long, 19, was driving too fast during inclement weather and lost control, entering the west ditch of John Paul Road. The car rolled onto its side and grazed a telephone pole.
Long was in stable condition at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. She was wearing her seatbelt and alcohol was not a contributing factor.
Long was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
