Janesville student hit by truck
JANESVILLE – A 13-year-old girl was hit by a truck Wednesday morning in front of Franklin Middle School, police report.
The Franklin Middle School student’s injuries were not life threatening, said police Sgt. Brian Vaughn. The student was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center for treatment.
The driver was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, Vaughn said.
