Jane Goodall to speak at Earth Day conference

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — British primatologist and conservationist Jane Goodall is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at an Earth Day conference on April 15 in Madison.
Goodall’s lecture is titled “Conservation Everywhere: Sustaining Natural and Cultural Diversity.” It is scheduled to cap the Nelson Institute Earth Day Conference at the Monona Terrace in Madison.
Goodall is known for her study of chimpanzee behavior in what is today Gombe National Park in Tanzania.

Other topics to be covered at the Earth Day conference include primate behavior and conservation, climate change, nature in film and television, and cultural conservation.

Maybe she could address the new "mining bill" and what it'll do to the environment! But then again, most Conservative could care less.
